Torvid the Hammer
…The Hammer
Domains: Competition, Strength, Sport
The Dwarves say he was a dwarf. Others say he was a man. Either way, Torvid towered over those around him. There are intersections in the legend. The name of his mother has fallen into obscurity, but his father is said to be Belkis themselves. Who took a mortal form to conceive the embodiment of war and conflict upon The Convergence. As Torvid grew, he departed from the teachings of his divine parentage. Torvid cared not for the devious machinations of the war machine. It was the challenge that drove him. Judging his experiment failed. Belkis deserted their offspring. Leaving him to fend for himself. In the days that followed, Torvid fought for his homeland, fought for his nation. His presence swayed the course of battles. As his skill and legend grew, the day to day life of the soldier of one nation grew dull. With the legendary Hammer on the front lines of their battlefields, his nation found themselves without an equal. The challenge of battle was now replaced by an era of peace. Torvid began to travel. Seeking anyone of anything that could challenge his mighty hammer. Some say he passed away. Some say he begrudgingly earned the favor of his father and was granted immortality. It is said that if your cause is just and your heart is true, Torvid the Hammer will join you on your front lines. Ever present in that first crack of hammer against shield.
