The Expedient Repeater- “Annie”

The Expedient Repeater, or “Annie” as it is affectionately referred to by it’s current wielder, is an extremely rare weapon. It is imbued with a variant of the spell “Haste”.

When attuned, the wielder may activate the runes on the stock to cast the inscribed spell once per short rest.

Casting Time: 1 Action

Target: Wielder (Mount included)

Duration: Concentration w/ weapon in hand, up to 5 Rounds

Until the spell’s end, the wielder’s speed is doubled, gains +2 bonus to their AC, has advantage on dexterity savings throws, and gains an additional attack action per round.

Once the spell is dissipated, either by being dropped or by completing its duration, the wielder is stunned for one round. For each additional casting, the penalty is increased by 1 round per use. i.e.-1 use= 1 round, 2 uses= 2 rounds….. This Penalty is removed once the wielder completes a long rest.
